Hi prolific pen’s! Lately, I have been thinking about real life scenario’s and how to incorporate them into my story. It’s interesting when these scenario’s can add value to a story, as this can change the entire direction in which the story initially had been planned. These directions tend to also impact the characters involved within the story. These scenario’s have significantly helped me through writer’s block.

I can embarrassingly confess that I have had to change the developments in my characters at least four or five times. This is because the new direction of the storyline, did not naturally flow with the development of the characters. As I continue to write my story, I am realizing how the dynamic of each character can either create a sense of warmth and closeness or uncertainty and anxiety. The constant switch between characters and scenes add perplexity to the entire flow of the story. This can contribute to the intended feeling of suspense that the story will eventually spiral into.
This story will provide you all with the independent insights into Elizabeth’s and Eric’s lives. There are transitions between their pasts and presents that will inevitably overlap into their futures. Eric will soon face some troubles that he will have to address and resolve before he can subject Elizabeth to his experiences. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is working to uncover the truth and present her findings , before any more tragedies occur within her county. There will be a continuous game of cat and mouse between the two, as Eric realizes what Elizabeth is trying to do. As Eric works to prove his innocence, there is a dark secret lingering deep within him. Elizabeth will work to uncover this secret, but this doesn’t come without treading through dangerous waters.
This storyline has helped to keep my current additions to my story- consistent and free flowing. The more I consider the outcome of the storyline, the easier it is for me to avoid writers block and improve character developments. I would like to start a writer’s circle and share various ideas, for the best methodologies on how to make an impactful character development for your story. Let me know your thoughts! Have a great Monday!
